Digital signage for the internal network: ordinary TVs become a communication channel run from a central panel.
- Management and operations
The problem
Notices, birthdays and safety announcements relied on boards and e-mail, and the building’s TVs showed the same fixed block to everyone.
Who it is for: Internal communications, HR and IT teams in companies with many TVs on site.
What the system does
Each TV becomes an autonomous player, paired with a six-character code. It receives its own schedule, plays it in a loop, reports what it showed and keeps playing the last schedule if the network drops. The panel separates content from programming: playlists, time grids, screen groups and an emergency alert that takes over every TV at once.
System screens
The screens stay in Portuguese, as in the system.

What the screen is made of
Every screen above depends on decisions like these, made in the code and covered by tests.
| Part | Decision |
|---|---|
| Isolated network | No CDN: self-hosted fonts and icons; weather, RSS and exchange rates fetched by the server and served from cache. |
| Resilience | The player keeps playing the last schedule if the network drops and recovers on its own from a frozen scene. |
| Display | Burn-in protection for screens that stay on 24 hours a day. |
| QR code | An in-house generator, validated by decoding every test case. |
